The first try for writing an issue

331 words, it's unsatisfactory at all. My weakness in writing are: confusing in brainstorming, unfamiliar expression...

"All nations should help support the development of a global university designed to engage students in the process of solving the world's most persistent social problems."

 

 

My writing:

 

While globalization is the current trend in many aspects of the world's affairs, we cannot ignore the local need in the society. The benefits of the globalization can never replace the local's, in fact, if a nation want to handle global matters, it must have a mature legislation, a peace society, a well-developed economy, and a high-quality education.

 

There are many needs and diverse levels in a society, so cannot pay attention only in education. The firm construction of a society is a premise of the advance of education. For example, National Taiwan University works hard for promoting the ranking among all the universities in the world in the past decade, but the president of NTU cannot only focus on the publishing and SCI. He also needs to drive the reconstruction of the old building, the reformation of the regulations, and the better quality of the facilities. The management of a school is complicated, just like a country. Therefore, having a well economy system, a sound health insurance, and the balance opportunities to work is crucial for the better education.

 

The goal of a university may not be solving the world's most persistent social problems. If we really have the point of global view, we may find out that there many options we can try to improve our world. For a doctor, an economist, a scientist, a businessman, or an officer, they have their different ways to concern the problems of this world. For instance, a scientist invents a new method to cultivate rice which can have more harvest; this is an approach to solve the food problem in many poor countries. So, the goal of a university should be board and diverse.

 

In consequence, we need to strengthen the foundation of our society and broaden our view in the education, and we can really solve the problems in the world.

The need of a record for any time

Three years are past, it is time to write something here... Maybe I can still record something on this blog in the future.

A new begining...

These days, I really need a support from the Lord Jesus and the
members of the Body. I am afraid of the fail of GRE examination and
confuse how to face the comeing choice and obstacles. No one likes to
be a loser, as well as I am. I just do not know how to thank the Lord
for His mercy to carry me to the university now since junior high. It
is absolutly not my talent or wisdom. Thus, what I need is to pray to
Him, not for my future primarily, but to seek his kingdom and his
rightuousness. Oh, Lord, my heart is for you.
I do really feel some disappointment.

Here's to a terrific 2007

That's right.

This year will be a wonderful year. In the past love feast of the
begining of the year, we all have a burden:

Being rooted and grounded, and having three-dimensional service.

This is what we really need, and also what I want to learn. To serve
the Lord is not a matter of what we do, but what we are? Service by
oneself is easily to be independent, but service with companion is a
way to get the bless, finish our self and build the Body of Christ.
This is the only value of my whole life.

Oh, Lord, make me that sweet member, living stone and shephering
pattern who be shephered by the chief shepherd day by day.

Give it a try

TOPIC: "It is necessary for everyone to read poetry, novels, mythology
and other types of imaginative literature."

Reading is a way to increase our knowledge and refresh our concepts.
Why it has a function of that? The answer is the author is not you.
what you read is come from others characteristics, style, and
thinking. These things will conflict or inspire to you, because
they're all new for you.
Therefore, I think this is necessary for everyone to read the
imaginative literature,like poetry, novels, mythology...etc. If I am a
student, I can recognize the labor's living at least some level from
the novel "A boy in the Factory". If I am a Chinese who never go
aboard, I can know something about Moscow by the Russian novels. It is
much benefited for us from reading.

To stand up...

big person to find a way to walk back from some of this and embrace

Sometimes we dug in certain struggle and environment, and desire to
stand up. But there is a difficult for "big person" to walk back just
like a child. I just wonder that... all right, I won't be a "big
person", I just want to be an innate child who can turn to the Lord
right away and go into the good land-the all inclusive Christ in our
spirit- easily.

Lord, capture me day by day.
